not necessarily.  we used to think gold is reliable material with monetary value. The idea can go back to ancient greek, as greek made gold coins and was precious. Nowadays, situation is very different. people have way more choices. gold is one of the options to save their assets.my point is that gold is good but dont shut the door to other choices.
