This 2017 silver commemorative medal honors the August 2017 HKCS. It contains 1 ounce of pure silver and is 40 mm in diameter with Ag. 999 in fineness. It's designed and minted by Shenyang Mint.
The obverse features a mother and child Panda in their natural bamboo forest habitat. The reverse depicts scenes of Hongkong. These include the Tian Tan Buddha(Big Buddha) statue at the Po Lin Monastery and a harbor view of the citt.
The mintage is limited to 500 pieces with Certificate of Authenticity. This is to certify that this silver commemorative issue is up to standard as to its fineness and weight.
