最近在读自然风光摄影师 John Shaw 的 Closeups in Nature（大自然中的近距摄影）：其中有一段话很有启发，摘录如下：

The first thing to realize is that equipment alone does not make a photograph. Good technique is far more important than anything else. The best equipment used sloppily won't produce pictures that are as good as those taken with mediocre equipment used precisely. Buying another lens does not necessarily mean there will be any improvement in the quality of your photographs, but using the equipment you already own to its fullest potential will make a difference.
译文
首先要明白的是器材本身并不能成就一张好照片，良好的技巧比什么都重要。顶级器材如果用得不上心，拍出的照片还不如用得恰到好处的不起眼器材。另购一枚镜头不一定意味着照片质量会有任何改善，但是如果充分发挥你手中现有器材的潜力，就会见到效果。
匠拥有匠心才能有高超的技艺，才能叫做匠人。 比金子更值钱的是点金术。
